Paris show: new Twingo is due United kingdom
Hot tunes meet hot-ant hatch within the Renault Twingo concept, revealed in Paris today (September 28).
Having a mixing desk and retracting 15-inch monitor included in its dash, a USB for ipod device or Smartphone, built-see how to avoid show, energy drinks chilled with a special compartment in the boot and loudspeakers that face outwards once the rear hatch is open, this car’s a rave on wheels.
Just 3.6 metres, it’s short, squat and assertive, too. Operated by Renault’s new turbocharged 1.2 16V TEC 100 gas engine – which boasts 100bhp along with a helpful 140g/km emissions figure – this concept’s sporty aspirations are emphasised by its yellow-chrome 17-inch wheels, bucket seats and twin tailpipes.
But let alone the concept’s fancy trimmings – the actual news is the fact that unlike its predecessor this Twingo can come towards the United kingdom. The development Twingo – a part of La Regie’s 26-vehicle Commitment 2009 – goes on purchase in France next spring, as well as in the United kingdom for the finish of the coming year.
Renault’s other Paris concept may be the 4×4 Koleos off-roader
