Kia recalls 25,000 United kingdom cars

Kia has announced a recall of 25,000 cars following a discovery of the faulty brake light switch.

The recall continues to be announced to repair a possible problem that could make the brake lights to not illuminate, or neglect to switch off once the brakes are freed.

The models affected include previous-generation Carens, Sedona, Sportage and Sorento models, plus some current-gen Sorento and Soul models and also the Optima saloon.

Kia states the fault has no effect on the cars’ capability to brake or their ABS systems. Proprietors of models affected is going to be contacted by Kia to set up the 15-minute fix.
