Andy Priaulx to create British Touring Vehicle Championship return with BMW
Multiple touring vehicle racing champion Andy Priaulx will go back to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Vehicle Championship this year after signing they are driving for West Surrey Racing.
Priaulx, who won the planet Touring Vehicle Championship three occasions with BMW between 2005 and 2007, will drive WSR’s BMW 125i M Sport, which won the 2014 championship at the disposal of Colin Turkington.
Guernseyman Priaulx raced for Honda within the BTCC throughout the 2002 season, before switching towards the European series with BMW. It had been the beginning of rapport using the Munich manufacturer that continues even today.
The livery of his BMW was revealed at Autosport Worldwide in the Birmingham NEC yesterday.
This year Priaulx will dovetail his BTCC commitments together with his responsibilities like a works driver within the European Le Mans Series with BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS and 4 endurance races within the U . s . States within the TUDOR U . s . SportsCar Championship inside a Turner Motorsport BMW Z4.
